K555 BAT was originally built by Prodrive for the famous Finn Ari Vatanen to compete in the
Greek round of the 1993 World Championship, The Acropolis Rally. It was Built to the latest works
specification at a cost of €130,000.
Vatanen was leading the Rally ahead of Tommi Makinnen, Carlos Sainz and Dider Auriol, Colin McRae,
Juha Jkankkunen, etc. when he crashed on special stage 21 and badly damaging the car. The Car was then brought back to Prodrive and Re Shelled and Sold to ProCar in Italy. The Car was rallied in Italy
only. The Car was purchased by Hugh Dunne of Delta Trans transport 1999.
